As the Facilities and Services Manager at MediaRadar in West Chester, PA, you'll be pivotal in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient office space. From overseeing vendor relationships and managing budgets to planning events and contributing to office expansions, you'll play a central role in creating a positive and functional workplace environment. Your expertise in facilities management, strong communication skills, and ability to make informed decisions will contribute to the overall success and smooth operation of our office spaces. What You Will Do:
Facilities Maintenance: Inspect common areas regularly to ensure cleanliness, safety, and accessibility. Ensure operational efficiency of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, generators, etc. Damage Investigation and Vendor Management: Investigate damages to facilities, determine responsibility, and assess charges for damages. Select and manage vendor relationships. Project Management: Determine the need for large-scale projects and recommend proposals as appropriate. Manage the furnishings program, refurbishing common rooms while adhering to company standards. Security and Safety: Manage security and safety, ensuring compliance with codes and proper functioning of security and safety systems. Implement a signage and branding program for MediaRadar Offices. Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and monitor the budget for the service area, ensuring adherence and controlling maintenance costs. Assist in the implementation of various system and service upgrades. Office Planning and Moves: Work with HR and Finance to determine office capacity needs. Aid in the selection of new office spaces and plan and execute office moves. Team Management: Manage or oversee other North American Facilities or Administrative staff. Event Planning: Plan and manage special functions related to the West Chester office, such as on-site events, holiday parties, summer parties, and meetings. Training and Security: Train office staff on various systems and services and upgrades. Manage the local security card access system. Requirements
Who You Are:
5 years of experience as an office or facilities manager. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ability to use discretion and independent judgment, making decisions and taking calculated risks as necessary. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines and tasks. Strong customer-service orientation. Benefits
