About Fabrication Team Member

  Aerotek is looking to hire a group of Fabrication Team Members to work for a Heavy Industrial Manufacturer.

  Description:

  Ability to lift heavy objects repetitively.

  Willingness to work overtime

  Ability to use a tape measure

  Experience reading blue prints/part schematics

  SUMMARY:

  We are looking for candidates for the fabrication team on the 2nd and 1st shift. Candidates will be working individually or on a team to create the parts and assembly the parts into structures that are used in major construction projects in the North East. Candidates will be working on cutting and bending machines to make the rebar components. Some of the components will be shipped to the work site for installation and others are sent to the fabrication team. There is automated and manual benders that candidates will be trained on.

  TYPICAL DAY:

  Candidates will arrive 15-20 mins prior to their shift start and get ready for the day. They will be given daily tasks. Work site will be inspected for safety and proper operating conditions and they will get to work.

  SHIFT TIME AND PAY RATES:

  Monday - Thursday

  1st Shift 5:00 am - 3:30 pm

  2nd Shift 4:00 pm - 2:30 am

  Friday

  1st 5:00 am - 2:30 pm

  2nd 4:00 pm - 12:00 pm

  Candidates should expect to work *8 hours of overtime per week*

  PAY:

  $17/hr - $22/hr

  QUALIFICATIONS:

  Must be able to work long hours in a fast paced environment.

  Attention to detail.

  Willingness to adhere to safety policies.

  Ability to keep and organized work station.

  PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  Candidates will be required to lift up to 50 lbs or more.

  Candidates will be using hand tools to tie wire together.

  Candidates will be required to work in hot and cold environments.
