Job Description Summary
The Military Field Service Representative will provide on-site technical assistance to Military organizations meeting both business and contractual objectives. Additionally, while acting as a liaison between the GE Aerospace factory and customer, the FSR will support the operation, management, repair and maintenance of the F110 product line, requiring experience in the operation, intermediate and test cell operations, primary location at Shaw AFB, South Carolina, additional roving of assigned USAF and Air Force Reserve Bases.

Essential Responsibilities:
Provide interpretation of data and technical instructionsProvide technical assistance in the identification of and instructions on the use of special tools and handling equipmentRecommend and develop local informal training programs in support of maintenance and troubleshooting tasksReview reported malfunctions and assist with fault analysisProvide technical assistance and support to resolve maintenance problemsReview effectiveness of maintenance actions to identify training needs and improve maintenance practicesAssist customer with logistics tasks including work scope reviews, maintenance scheduling, data recording and hardware tracking / availabilityUnderstand the operation of business tools to assist the customer in areas such as spare parts ordering, issue resolution, provisioning, & other business processesApply Lean Six Sigma analytical tools to assist the customer with root cause analysis, issue resolution and trend analysisDemonstrate best methods of disassembling, repairing, and assembling engines and engine componentsServe as liaison between customer and factory personnel related to maintenance, logistical and operational tasksClear and concise reporting of field events to GE Product Support Engineering (PSE)Proactive engagement with activities aimed towards reduced customer cost of ownershipApplies business skills to drive customer satisfaction & product performance to enhance business growth
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a field service / maintenance position as a Military Field Service Representative)Minimum of 3 years of field maintenance, modification, and repair experience on propulsion system productsAbility to sit on-site in Shaw AFB, SC full time, 5 days/week.

Additional Information:
The salary pay range for this position is $85,900 -$114,500-$143,100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
