Job Description
In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with the working level and the decision makers level in HCMC, Thu Duc city governments and SHTP management, regulatory agencies, local authorities, investment promotion agencies, industrial park managers, industry associations, and other government department and agencies in order to enable access to the working level, key influencers and decision makers level to anticipate and resolve issues related to Intel's continuous operations and growth, and help Intel stakeholders work more effectively with the government.The role includes proactive communication, remove operating barriers and identify opportunities to advance Intel Vietnam's growth.The successful candidate will also be responsible for building and reinforcing the company's image as a responsible corporate citizen and promote and position Intel initiatives with the government for the best impact.As part of the Intel Global Public Affairs organization, the successful candidate will work very closely with the VN-CN Public Affairs team, the Site General Manager and MRC's members, the Global Government Affairs team, support all aspects of Intel Public Affairs and other leaders in Intel Vietnam to align on key site agenda and initiatives with key officials at the central government.Reporting to the VN-CN Public Affairs Director, the position is based in HCMC.
Qualifications
Possess a bachelor's or a master's degree, preferably in Engineering, Legal or related fields. Added exposure to the public policy would be an advantage.Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written Vietnamese and English.Strong understanding of HCMC government operations and policies.More than 10 years of work experience in engaging a broad section of the government, regulatory agencies, investment promotion agencies, and industry bodies at working level and decision maker level.Person in this role should be mature, and possess exceptional diplomatic, negotiating, networking and relationship building skills.Should have a working understanding of computing technologies.Excellent communication skills and should be able to represent Intel at external platforms and at senior governmental levels.Should be a team player, comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment, ability to work in a demanding environment; someone who can interact effectively across global and culturally diverse organizations.
