Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Experienced Production Test Electrical Assembler (Level B or Level C) to join the 787 Program in North Charleston, South Carolina on a Variable Shift!
In this position you will perform complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs functional testing of aircraft electrical systems and components as well as perform aircraft systems troubleshooting and fault repair.
Assesses and documents test or analysis data to show compliance.
Performs complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
Identifies roadblocks and production constraints escalating issues which cannot be resolved by the team using open and clear communication.
Supports teammates to improve overall team performance by providing cross training and mentoring.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd )
1+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing
1+ years of experience in electrical assembly and/or electronic materials
1+ years of experience in avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installations, and aircraft electrical systems troubles
1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with functional testing of aircraft electrical systems
Functional testing of IFE systems knowledge
Aircraft systems troubleshooting and fault repair experience
787 Program Experience
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level B)
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
Experiened (Level C)
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Associate (Level B) summary pay range: $50,600 - $54,450
Experiened (Level C) summary pay range: $59,220 - $60,480
