Key Responsibilities
Run Trade (B2B) Facebook pageCreate comprehensive social media content calendarPost content regularlyMonitor our presence and provide responses to contact from travel agent partnersMeasure and report on the success of activitiesMonitor and track competitive landscapeFeeding local content to consumer social media sites via Global team (events, awards etc)Organise, manage and attend all trade and consumer UK & Ireland events
Assisting with events including creating and sending invitations and monitoring RSVPS, answering general queriesProduction of all supporting material including roll-up displays, merchandise, collateral while controlling stock levelsOn site event management including stand set up, staff management, liaising with customers, travel agent partners and suppliersResearch venues and resource items and suppliers for all eventsReport on event and campaign performance, evaluate their effectivenessProject manage the UK consumer and trade webinar programmeManage our partnerships with external B2C and B2B suppliersReview trade tools such as Widgety, My Silversea, Marketing Central and Silversea Academy regularly to ensure content is accurateInvestigate data and compile reportsCreation of PowerPoint presentations for sales teamProvide general support for the Marketing team, as required, across , print and digital.Manage the UK marketing inbox and update all consumer database queries/opt outsAssist with proof reading of brochures, direct mail, emails, general collateralCoordinate advert artwork/ email production for local trade/consumer messagesCoordinate overbrand programme for tactical trade DMGeneral departmental administrationProcess all UK stationary requests (business cards etc)
Qualifications & Education
Bachelor's degree preferred or minimum GCSE level 2-3 years of experience in a similar positionExperience of working in the travel sector, beneficialGreat communication skills both written and verbalHigh attention to detailVery high standard of written English Proficient in Microsoft OfficeFamiliar with social mediaAbility to work under pressure and to prioritise tasks accordinglyAgile and adaptableA self-starter who can work both independently, and as a positive team-player working towards a common goalWilling to travel
