Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading the Information Security (IS) operations center; publishing and governing IS operating processes and procedures; IS testing / monitoring functions; day-to-day IS supplier relationship management for testing / monitoring activities; identity access management; security technology management; deployment and management of IS metrics and reporting; and management and operations of security solutions to help detect security vulnerabilities and events which pose risk to the enterprise.
Responsibilities include:
Manage and support overall Security Operations to include Platform Management and Tooling, Identity and Access Management, and Vulnerability Management services for the Enterprise
Plan, design and implement improvements to an overall operating model for Security Operations. This operating model includes real-time health monitoring, optimized configuration, volume and capacity planning, testing and error handling, change and release management, and reporting.
Lead problem and incident response process and execution including operational outages, and support of security-related incidents.
Develop and maintain vendor relationships for core security products and services
Establish and mature vendor support models to include onshore and offshore resourcing models
Develop communication channels with IS partners, IT partners and business areas to ensure solid incident response and risk assessment processes.
Analyze, assess and recommend security controls.
Work with cross functional organizations in analysis of security controls and best practices to optimize the customer experience.
Provide assistance in external audits; to achieve and maintain compliance.
Manage updates to security hardware and software.
Provide daily operations to act on alerted events and potential incidents.
Recommend updates to current environment based on threats and vulnerabilities.
Monitor & report on issues and risks, including Security Operations led root cause analysis.
Monitor & report on information security (trends, capacity, alerts).
Identify challenges or coverage gaps with the data and provide closed loop feedback to other information security teams.
Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 12 years in Information Technology / Security.
8 years in management.
Oral & written communication skills.
