Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role, the Executive Director will be responsible for preparing the US business for the successful launch of Bemarituzumab. This will be accomplished by providing US input into global strategy development and by leading the US business tactical planning process. This includes involvement in the development of global strategic brand planning, annual US brand planning, and pre-launch and commercialization plans.
Specifically, the role provides US input into the planning and development of global pre-launch core activities including positioning, branding value proposition, market access, pricing and reimbursement, commercial production plan, packaging, and distribution.
In addition, the role is responsible for working closely with the GML (Global Marketing Lead) to align the strategy against the development and delivery of the US pre-launch core activities including market development, customer segmentation, sales force size and design, hiring and corporate planning, resource allocation, sales, and manufacturing forecasts and trade sales operations for the Global to Market (G2M) transition at T-18.
The Executive Director is responsible for the development and delivery of post-launch commercialization plans with emphasis on brand planning which includes defining US market opportunities, customer and stakeholder prioritization, prioritized value drivers, market communication platform, customer model, and strategic investment guidance. They are also responsible for ensuring alignment of key stakeholders within the global and US organizations on all key activities and decisions prior to and following launch including meeting the needs of the core reference market deliverables (US) for the ROW (as per the new streamline model). The Executive Director will hire, lead, and develop the Bemarituzumab marketing team to ensure an effective transition, evaluating potential launch team structure, timing of hiring and job descriptions.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree & 6 years of oncology marketing experience OR
Master’s degree & 10 years of oncology marketing experience OR
Bachelor’s degree & 12 years of oncology marketing experience AND
6 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of marketing experience, across multiple segments, and Oncology therapeutic area
Experience in developing and implementing marketing plans on multiple brands in different phases of their lifecycle, including coordination of market research and tactical plans
Experience in managing P&L
Experience in building and leading teams as well as working within a matrix organization
Launch experience of a new product, indication or line extension
Exposure and ability to build relationships with other functional areas such as market access, finance, market research, legal, medical, regulatory, and manufacturing
Operational marketing experience across a range of product life cycle situations
Understanding of healthcare industry trends
Knowledge of the regulatory/clinical review process
Knowledge of the drug development and clinical trial process, including the product development and commercialization process
Understanding of market research and marketing excellence principles
Understanding of professional sales organization
Proficiency in finance and forecasting

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $273,147 to $331,501.
