Vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccine requirements are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical, religious, or fully remote exemption. Requests for exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved exemption is required to start work.
Job Description
We are excited to recruit an Executive Assistant to support our SVP, Financial Operations. This is a highly visible role for an administrative professional who thrives in a collaborative, high-touch, and evolving environment. This role is expected to interact on behalf of the Financial Operations leadership team across MSK, senior leadership, board members, the leadership of affiliated hospitals, and external organizations/consultants.
You will:
Manage time commitments by planning and scheduling meetings, calls, and events for the SVP, Financial Operations and senior leadership team Protect daily calendar by prioritizing requests, recommending alternative options, and determining the necessity of attendance Arrange travel needs and process expenses Assist with planning and logistics support for meetings Prepare agendas, status reports, and other documents to support overall operations Participate in meetings and prepare minutes as needed Act as a liaison for e-mail requests, prioritize and sort emails, and respond where appropriate Complete projects and work with the team as assigned Represent the Finance department in a positive light and MSK's vision, mission and values
You Are:

You have:
4+ years of multifaceted, progressive administrative support experience, including support to a senior-level executive Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact across all levels in a confident, professional manner Outstanding attention to detail - flexible, adaptable, and reliable Great follow-through skills and good judgment Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), Zoom, and other collaboration tools. Workday knowledge is a plus.
Please note this is a hybrid role with 90% remote flexibility. Expected to be in NYC for important in-person meetings and other collaboration needs.
