Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH Wireless is seeking an extraordinary Executive Assistant who exemplifies the adventurous spirit and is ready to support the Retail Wireless Operations leadership team. The ideal person for the job will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. They will have previous experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties and providing support to executive and C-Suite management. Given the ever-changing nature of the executive landscape, we rely on our assistant for flexibility and foresight, while maintaining confidences related to high-level systems and operations. They also need to have the ability to keep calm in the face of pressure, while ensuring operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Reserving conference rooms, screening emails and phone callsRefining and maintaining internal processes that support the executives and overall departmentManaging communication between leadership and employeesLiaising with internal and external executives on various projects and tasksServing as onboarding liaison to ensure new hires have a smooth transitionActing as office manager by managing office supply inventory and ensuring office equipment is available and operationalCoordinating seating arrangements for the teamManaging sensitive and confidential information related to travel, expenses, vendor relationships, disciplinary actions, pay rates, appraisal scores and promotionsOrganizing department meetings and functions throughout the yearCollecting and processing expense reportsNetworking with other executive assistants, executives, VPs and Directors to form positive, long-lasting relationshipsTeaming with IT and Facilities groups on systems and department issues and requestsMay require minimal after hour support - evenings/weekendsSkills, Experience and Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; and 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceSkills and Qualifications:
Familiarity with office tools and applications (e.g., computers, phone systems, copiers)Strong time-management skills with the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at onceFlexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challengeSelf-sufficient and able to prioritize work with little directionExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenAbility to work well with staff at all levels from individual contributor to the CEOAbility to adapt to a fast paced environment while maintaining a high standard of excellenceStrong Google Suite skills, including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive and Google Meet. The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total
compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
