About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Dow Jones, the Executive Assistant, Office of the CTO will undertake a range of activities in support of strategic planning and initiatives. This Manager will provide a level of support to the CTO that incorporates awareness and knowledge of business needs and objectives to ensure the CTO's time is used as effectively and efficiently as possible. This role will be the one to ensure the department is well-coordinated and productive and will partner closely with the CTO and others to drive departmental cultural and business initiatives.
The EA for the CTO will have knowledge of the structure and workflows, be keenly aware of activity throughout the CTO organization, and disseminate information and actions to the CTO and other managers and employees as needed.
This position is expected to serve as a main point of contact for, and representative of, the CTO and his office on a day-to-day basis. This may require accompanying the CTO to meetings, during travel and to events in/out of the office, ensuring all needs/asks are promptly and consistently resolved.
You will work with senior leadership to plan, track and accelerate work across a broad portfolio by implementing and evolving processes for key projects. You must be someone who can discover the most efficient ways to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the CTO's operations to facilitate accelerating development and long term success.
You Will:
Plan and direct all administrative, financial and operational activities of the CTOs office Support the coordination of strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged Support and facilitate change across the Technology organization by ensuring business priorities are communicated effectively and employees are engaged in the mission. Maintain constant communication with CTO teams and keep CTO informed of any concerns that may not be immediately apparent Prepare executive reports, briefings and presentations as well as responses to various business matters in order to inform and support the CTO in making decisions Support and influence the planning and execution of business events, team offsites and meetings hosted or attended by the CTO Regularly review the CTO schedule as well as emails and other inbound correspondence in order to advise and guide the CTO in managing priorities, pre-empting any issues and ensuring time is spent as effectively and efficiently as possible Oversee travel planning for the CTO's office, managing budget and ensuring expense reports are processed in a timely manner
You Have:
Minimum 5 years of experience with an emphasis on project management and senior level executive support Experience working with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams Ability to operate independently with excellent time management skills and confirmed ability to deliver on multiple, competing priorities in a dynamic environment Ability to effectively and professionally interact with people and partners across all levels within the organization Manage complex projects while remaining flexible and positive Hybrid work schedule with 3 days in office

Pay Range: $50,000 - $180,000
