Amazon is seeking an exceptionally bright, multitasking and self-motivated individual to support the Vice President of the Amazon Software Builder Experience (ASBX) organization. ASBX owns the tools and training used by software teams across Amazon to build and maintain all of Amazon software across all divisions of the company. This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture.Key job responsibilities* Play a leadership role with the administrative support team in the ASBX organization* Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars* Manage complex calendar and scheduling requirements* Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items* Act as a liaison for direct reports* Drive key team activities, such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, and supply ordering* Update team organizational charts* Manage group logistics* Coordinate travel* Participate in planning of events* Work with other assistants throughout the ASBX team and across the rest of the companyAbout the teamASBX, started in 2022, is working to make Amazon the best place for software builders to build. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
