Overview
Seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to manage and execute administrative, project and senior-level legal support while exercising a high level of professionalism, discretion, attention to detail and responsiveness.
Responsibilities
Manage incoming communications, including answer/redirect phone calls, take detailed messages and act as needed (e.g., respond, follow-up, reminders, etc.) for General Counsel and other legal staff as needed Calendar management including schedule; plan and coordinate calls and meetings Create and edit documents, including letters, legal memos and other correspondence Assist in coordination of and materials preparation for ownership, board and committee meetings (e.g., agendas, presentations, etc.) Coordinate logistics for MLB events (e.g., All-Star, etc.), arrange travel plans and prepare and submit expense reports Maintain and file documents and records Process and manage creation of form contracts sent to clients Oversee and manage process for execution of various agreements Process department invoices Research and offer other support on legal department projects Perform related duties as required
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five years of office administrative experience for senior-level executives or an equivalent combination of education and experience Prior experience supporting lawyers preferred Excellent organization, communication, writing and multi-tasking skills Demonstrated time management skills including the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong problem solving and decision-making skills Excellent and professional interpersonal skills; team-oriented demeanor Excellent computer aptitude and advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite. Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Workshare, Concur, CounselLink or other similar contract, document and electronic management systems Ability to perform duties while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality Available to work overtime, if needed Location: NYC Office; Full-time in-office position

Per the NYC pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000.
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills and any other factors Major League Baseball (MLB) considers relevant to the hiring decision.
