We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, organized and dynamic Events Specialist to join our North America Marketing team. This role will be responsible for executing client entertainment, supporting end-to-end larger industry/owned events and marketing campaigns for the North American region, including Canada. We are looking for a proactive team player who is positive, has excellent attention to detail, strong multi-tasker and has experience in building relationships with sales as well as with managing B2B events. Your responsibilities will include managing a variety of live, in-person, and virtual events. This person will lead their own campaigns as well as support the NA Marketing Lead with larger projects.
Responsibilities: End-to-end event management:Ideation: Lead from conceptualization to execution, aligning activation with appropriate brand messaging and defining its contribution to primary business goals. Planning and coordinating: Develop timelines, budgets, logistics plans, brand messaging, support on-site activation, source swag and coordinate with various stakeholders. Execute and manage: Oversee event logistics throughout the pre-operational, day-of, and post-event phases. This involves tasks such as distributing event links to customers, coordinating deliveries for clients, crafting basic landing pages, and managing catering. Post-event analysis: Assess event success through feedback from attendees and stakeholders, analyze event data, and identify areas for improvement. Budget management: Manage budgets, process event-related invoices, and contracts. Administrative and coordination duties are also required as part of the rolePromotion and marketing:Collaborate with design, digital marketing and communications teams on campaigns to ensure visibility.Create short-form content, blogs, event descriptions, landing page copy and social media posts to promote eventsAdaptability: Demonstrate flexibility to handle changes and unforeseen challenges with composure and quick thinking.
Qualifications: 3 - 4 minimum years of event planning experience crafting and executing top-notch events and programsExperience planning and executing numerous industry and owned events for clients and prospects with stellar resultsStrong written, verbal communication, and presentation skillsExcellence in partnering with sales teams to drive revenueCreativity to develop impactful and engaging campaignsProactive mindset and tenacity to deliver on the planAbility to see the big picture while being detail-oriented Team player and positive attitudeCommercially driven
Bonus Points: B2B marketing background.Industry experience in Media / Advertising Technology.Experience with Splashthat, WordPress, Salesforce, and Marketo systems.
