Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Event Operations and PM Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of logistics for the upcoming hybrid event. This event will have over 2,000 in person attendees and over 20,000 online.
The Event Operations and PM Lead will be responsible for keeping track of and organizing everything, including meetings, vendors, working on timelines for programs, and more. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of logistics for the upcoming hybrid event.
Keep track of and organize everything, including meetings, vendors, working on timelines for programs, and more.
Work with budgets, fine-tune timelines, and manage cross-functional work streams.
Create project plans, assign tasks, and monitor the status of these tasks to ensure that deadlines are met.
Skills and Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in in-person events, unless they have a lot more overall event management.
Strong project management skills
Excellent communication skills, confidence, and the ability to lead an agenda.
Able to travel from October 18th to 25th, plus one additional site visit to either Anaheim or Orlando.
Experience managing event budgets
Experience with Smartsheet, Asana or similar project management tools
Fluent in MS Office and PowerPoint. Project Management certification
