Your Team responsibilities
Your role as an event coordinator is to assist with various tasks contributing to the overall organization of regional and global events programme ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategies
This includes coordinating with external suppliers, such as third-party conference organizers, venues, audio visual, catering, video editors, etc., to ensure smooth and cost-effective event operations.
And most importantly, collaborating with key internal partners, such as marketing, administrative teams, to support any in-office or local event activities.

Your key responsibilities
• Acting as onsite staff for events locally or hosted on MSCI premises, including registration desk and setup of room, AV, catering, etc.
• Printing, shipping and tracking supplies for onsite events staff, such as name badges, marketing materials and other onsite documentation.
• Actively researching venues as destinations for all types of events, presenting space details and offering creative alternatives.
• Supporting our industry event activities with onsite setup and logistics management, providing new innovative ideas to enhance MSCI's brand awareness.
• Conducting post-event analysis and reporting, including event feedback, performance metrics, sales follow-up, and opportunities tracking.
• Actively research venues as destinations for all types of events, presenting space details and offering creative alternatives.
• Managing and maintaining inventory of event equipment including exhibit booths and branded promotional items for your region.
• Support our industry event activities with onsite setup and logistics management, providing new innovative ideas to enhance MSCI's brand awareness.
• Follow-up with onsite events staff for post-event documentation including attendee lists and evaluation forms
• Tracking return shipment of event equipment and supplies.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
• A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• 1-2 years' experience in marketing or event/meeting planning.
• A keen passion for a career in event management and a desire to learn and grow
• Strong project management skills and ability to independently meet deadlines.
• Hands-on self-starter who is detail-orientated, demonstrates initiative and would proactively contribute to ideas and solutions.
• Outstanding interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word & PowerPoint, and savvy with event technology
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
