  Position Summary:

  Join our dynamic and highly skilled Global Trade Data team, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the seamless movement of goods across borders. As a valued member of our team, you will closely collaborate with international teams to ensure the utmost integrity in trade data, precise merchandise classification with HTS codes, meticulous determination of export control classifications, and identification of the country of origin. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring compliance and efficiency in cross-border transactions.

  Key responsibilities include, but are not exclusively:

  Perform customs classification for imported and exported merchandiseCommunicate relevant product information to internal teams to support accurate classificationProvide technical mentorship and guidance during customs clearancePerform audit activities related to data integrity and import/export transactions to ensure compliance with regulationsLead internal projects aimed at improving effectiveness within trade data managementIdentify, investigate, and resolve data process and data issuesRequest Long-Term Supplier Declarations and Certificates of OriginCollaborate closely with various departments, including Global Trade Compliance, R&D, Engineering, Sourcing, Logistics, and QualityDrive continuous improvement process to enhance the PPI Business SystemPerform analysis to find opportunities for duty refunds and cost savings

  Requirements:

  High School education (or higher) preferably with technical base or administration, logistics or equivalentProficient written and spoken EnglishProficient in using Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio)Experience in data integrity and managementPrevious work experience in customs area and with international team

  Nice-to-have requirements:

  Knowledge of HTS, TARIC (HS, CN), Binding Ruling, Explanatory Notes, ECCN classification, Valuation, Rules of OriginTechnical documentation review and revision experience.Knowledge of ERP (QAD)Knowledge of US customs regulation
