Job Description
The Customer Experience and Support (CES) team within the Intel Ethernet Product Division (IEPD) is looking for a talented Product Application Engineer to support Intel Ethernet products.
The primary job role is technical support for Intel Ethernet product.
The secondary job role is to enable custom design with Intel Ethernet product on both discrete silicon and integrated Ethernet IP.
The individual is expected to work closely with different stakeholders, included front-end customers, internal debuggers and engineers, and product marketing team in different regions for ensuring Intel Ethernet products are well enabled and sustained.
Some travel may be required as appropriate based on customer needs.
Job Responsibilities
Perform custom design service and issue debug for Intel Ethernet Product. You will be expected to effectively document debug status as well as communicating debug plans to customers and internal stakeholders.
Work directly with the product program team and product planners to scale out Intel reference design toward customer product.
Work on customer issue over complex test environment on laboratory or field. Provide technical assistance and/or solution with gaining customer satisfaction.
Perform design review service including schematic, board layout, logical device control, signal integrity. Provide effective recommendation for meeting custom requirement with further completion.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
The candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering domain along with min of 3+ years of direct experience.
Good to excellent verbal and written skills in both Mandarin and English
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and deliver quality result.
A proven team player.
Being confident and love to face people and deal with conflicts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with customers requests and ability to operate in high stress environment across geo/teams.
Strong knowledge of IEEE 802.3 standard, Ethernet architecture, I/F and network products.
Knowledge of Intel system level architecture BMC, NCSI, I2C, IOSF, SMBUS, SPI
Experience of Ethernet SerDes interface on design and debug
Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, transmission line theory, analog circuit design and high speed signal processing
Experience in design and/or validation of networking products as LOMs, adapters, mezzanines, or embedded form factors
Knowledge of Windows and Linux Ethernet device driver and debug experience.
Experience with test automation with Python or other scripting languages.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
