Overview:
Primary responsibilities include managing day to day operations and end-user support and supporting project initiatives across the EPM platform.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as a key resource in the projects and enhancement of the Oracle EPM systemManage operations and end-user support of Hyperion EPM 11.2.5 platform; including maintenance and technical support of Essbase cubesEssbase Administration and development, including MDX queries, Smart View Add-in for EssbaseModify/tune existing batch scripts; compose SQL queries for DB2 and Oracle relational databasesCreate and maintain Windows server Administration and MaxL ScriptsSupport Oracle EPM system products associated with Essbase; including working with vendor and maintaining Admin Account on Oracle support websiteParticipate and complete Deloitte audit request associated with Finance General Ledger cubeParticipate in the Quarterly 302 Certification - IT Logical Access - EssbaseManage IBM TWS scheduling setup for batch automationCreate/update technical documentationStay up-to-date on Oracle EPM product releases and new features, provide recommendations for system improvements, participate in regression testing of Oracle software updates and patches
Required Education/Skills and Abilities:
3-5 years of software/IT experience.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.Experience in multidimensional analysis, designing applications and databases, designing and building dimensions, loading data, calculating data and aggregation techniques.Thorough knowledge of end-user tools including SmartviewWorking knowledge of data modeling concepts both relational and dimensionalWorking knowledge in relational database technologies and administration, preferably Oracle and DB2Knowledge of Hyperion application architecture and design principles, including infrastructure, table structure, protocols, and delivered objectsSome exposure/knowledge of installation, configuring and patching Oracle EPM is a plusExperience in tuning, and optimization of Essbase cubesExperience in working with both Windows and UNIX/Linux based systemsExperience in developing software applications leveraging Hyperion EPM, including EssbaseManage time efficiently with the capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently under minimal supervisionExperience with high levels of accountability; demonstrated initiative, innovation and flexibilityExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHyperion certification is preferred but not required
