This position is responsible for leading the ERS Core Services Salesteam to achieve annual Sales, Orders, and profitability goals. This rolewill ensure the sales team is provided and executing well definedgoals/objectives consistent with ERS\' strategic growth initiatives.This is accomplished through the direct management of ERS\' existingArea Sales Management team, regular collaboration with ERS\' Operations,COE, and Major Accounts management team, and development/improvement ofERS\' existing and future sales tools.
Implement sales strategies, structure, and processes as developed bythe Management CommitteeDrive sales excellence through the direct sales team and inpartnership with regional and local operations leaders and other keystakeholders with the Vertiv organizationManage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasting, execution,and budgetingRESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Sales Management
Administer all phases of the sales management process to insureeffective and timely customer service and response.Formulates, communicates, implements and evaluates strategies andtactical sales plans.Evaluates inside and outside sales performance.Provides coaching and developmental support to continuously improvecapabilities of the sales team.Directly supervise the Area Sales Managers located throughout thenation.Customer Relationship Management
Partner with customers to plan strategies, provide quality service,train personnel and provide support as necessary for attainment ofgoals and objectives.Become the senior sales leadership liaison for ERS to our key, majorcustomersImplementing, administering, and developing sales tools
Continually improve ERS\' current suite of sales tools such as thenational quotation tool, sales quotation application, etc.Implement a CRM system and supporting sales dashboardsDevelop advanced sales planning processes and toolsIdentify future systems to automate and improve ERS\' overall salesperformanceTraining
Responsible for the development of a national sales training programfor ERSWork with existing internal Vertiv training resources to develop theprogramImplement the training program across the United States for all ERSsales and management personnel, both new and existing hiresChannel Management
The position is responsible for development and implementation ofpartnering strategies with Vertiv\'s LBP\'s (Local BusinessPartners), support and training of Vertiv\'s sales teams, annualbusiness planning, and coordination of local marketing efforts.This position is also responsible for identifying key organizationsand channels to market/sell various ERS service offering andexpanding ERS\' relationship with those groups to drive new programopportunities for these markets.Marketing Support
Define markets and work with product management to identify marketpotential and appropriate sales strategies for the nation.Implementation of national/state/local marketing programs asnecessary.Provide evaluations, as requested, of new service programs,marketing research and literature development.Senior Management
As a member of the senior management team, communicates effectivelywith the operations teams to drive customer satisfaction and growth.Participate as required on quarterly board meetings.Other duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS
Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, 50-75% overnight travelrequiredMust possess experience with and thorough knowledge of electricaldistribution systemsPrevious experience with selling services is requiredKnowledge of relevant regulations and standards associated withERS\' business a plus. This includes but is not limited to:NERCNFPA 70EOSHA 1910NETAState and federal regulations and standardsRegularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, talkand hear. Required to sit and work at computer. Specific visionabilities required by this job include close vision and the abilityto adjust focus. Conduct walk-through of construction sites and workin and around electrical equipment.Valid Driver\'s License requiredEDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Graduate Engineer (BSEE/BSME) and at least 10 years of salesmanagement, and at least 5 years of that management experiencedirectly managing sales managers is required for this positionPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
