Become the ERP Modernization - IT Integration Architect, Senior Advisor and lead the modernization of the ERP integration landscape, incorporating best practices such as expanded use of APIs and event driven integration architectures. You will drive the architectural design, development and refactoring across the NextGen ERP technical landscape spanning multi-cloud, on-premise and SaaS. In this technical leadership role, you will deliver integration architectures and designs that align with the overall IT technology strategy, while enabling the targeted business transformation goals of NextGen ERP.
The Integration Architect will assess the compatibility and integration of proposed solution architectures to ensure an integrated architecture across the SAP and non-SAP technical landscape solution components of the NextGen ERP footprint ensuring data integrity and seamless data exchange between systems. This technical leadership role requires you to perform integration requirements analysis, decide integration technology usage and develop integration architecture and design using standard integration patterns. You will validate that integration solutions are future-proof, reusable and consider scalability, performance and align with security best practices.

Lead the strategy and roadmap planning: Supports the development of the integration and SOA/ API strategy and roadmap for the NextGen ERP; Align the integration strategies/roadmaps with the overall IT technology strategies and roadmaps. Define multiple solution options and guides/develops the understanding of the financial and value realization impacts of integration architecture alternatives. Design and guide the development of integration solutions: Perform integration requirements analysis, decide integration technology usage and develop integration architecture and design using standard integration patterns; Develop end-to-end high-level integration designs and lead development of downstream integration artifacts for assigned projects; Review and approve detailed integration design artifacts for assigned projects. Support the development and testing of data integration components. Design and guide integration standards and guidelines: development of analytics, information and integration patterns, standards and guidelines. Ensures compliance to standards and guidelines for consistency across various projects. Provide technical oversight, leading integration architecture related quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents and code reviews; provide direction and guidance to internal and external partners project resources to ensure the integrity of the integration architecture and business value capture. Execute knowledge management, thought leadership and innovation activities; act an advisor and mentor to architectural and technical resources providing guidance and motivation.
Qualifications
The essentials
Ten (10) or more years of experience in SAP/ERP integration solutions design and development. Five (5) or more years of experience in SAP PI/PO/CPI Integration Suite. Five (5) or more years of experience selecting the appropriate integration patterns, technologies and platforms to meet business and technical requirements. Five (5) or more years of experience collaborating with business stakeholders, solution architects and development teams to understand integration requirements and translating them into scalable and robust integration designs. Five (5) or more years of experience as an Integration Architect or similar Technical Lead role, with a strong focus on designing and implementing complex integration solutions. Experience and deep knowledge of integration patterns, technologies and platforms, such as ESBs, iPaaS, API gateways, message brokers and microservices. Experience and architectural knowledge of key integration technologies - SAP (PO, SAP CPI, IBM ESB, IBM DP, JMS, WS). Experience and proficiency in integration protocols and standards (e.g., REST, SOAP, XML, RFC, JSON, EDI, etc.). Experience communicating via both, written and oral communications, with senior executive management. Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
The preferred
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related technical field such as Business or Engineering. Experience in leading architecture or integration architecture of at least one complex project. Experience and business knowledge in one or more of the following ERP business process domains: Finance (Record to Report), Logistics, Procure-to-Pay, Supply Planning, Work Management (Acquire to Decommission) and Asset Management (Acquire to Decommission). Experience in architecture development methods like UML, BPMN documentation methodologies and requirements analysis and application architecture design based on the development methods. Experience and knowledge working with LeanIX, IDS Scheer tools and SAP Signavio to model all application architecture artifacts. Experience and strong knowledge working with SAP BTP and SAP Integration suite. Experience and familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their integration capabilities One or more of the following certification(s): SAP Professional Architect certification(s) TOGAF certification Project Management (SAP Activate, PMI, SAFe, ACP) certification(s) SAP ERP or S/4 HANA ERP implementation experience (at least 2 full lifecycle implementations)
You should know...
This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
