Boeing Defense, Space and Security is seeking a Equipment Maintenance Team Lead MOCVD to join our Spectrolab Team . This position is located in Sylmar, CA .

Position Responsibilities:
Develops and implements manufacturing processes.
Provides concurrent engineering support.
Defines production activities and resolves problems of limited scope.
Reviews and approves technical documents.
Analyzes charging trends and develops projected manpower forecast.
Assists with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation.
Leads projects and participates in technical research on proposed projects.
Serves as primary interface with internal customers.
Translates data into actionable plan for implementation within the organization.
Compiles and provides management status reports for corrective/preventative action.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 2nd shift.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 + years of experience maintaining optics, lasers, electronic equipment, mechanical equipment, or instrumentation.
3 + years of experience with both high (greater than atmospheric) and low pressure (vacuum) systems.
3 + years of experience working with hazardous materials.
3 + years of work experience, or academic education, or training with semiconductor and/or photovoltaic cell systems.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Electrical knowledge and component level diagnostics.
Experience working with chemical vapor deposition (CVD)
Experience working in a clean room environment.
Ability to maintain a periodic maintenance program in a production environment.
Experience mentoring others in a technical environment.
Typical Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range level 2: $ 66,300 - $ 89,700.
Summary pay range level 3: $ 85,000 - $ 115,000.
