  Job Summary

  To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Equipment Automation Supervisor located in Austin, TX .

  Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager , the Equipment Automation Supervisor role will focus on Coordinates activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

  SHIFT: Sun, Mon, Tues, every other Sat 6:00PM - 6:00AM (15% shift differential)

  What a typi cal day looks like: Coordinates daily department activities to maximize equipment utilization and support production needs.Establishes preventative maintenance schedules. Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.Coordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations. Assign technician to support equipment, repair, and maintenance functions.Administer safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees.Generates maintenance logs and other operations reports. Provide advice and support technicians on best practices.The experience we're looking to add to our team: Demonstrated leadership skills and 6 years of related experience Demonstrates knowledge of functional concepts and a solid understanding of Flex policies and procedures.Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.Use of various tools associated with the following areas may be required: Electronic Assembly, Cables, Testing, Machine Operations, Mechanical and Electrical Repair. Office Skills including ability to utilize telephones and computer hardware and office software to include, MS Office products including (spreadsheets and presentation packages). Able to read, write, and interpret complex instructions, reports, and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively before groups of employees, manufacturing support, and peers. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
