We're building a cutting-edge electronic healthcare records and analytics services capability, harnessing the collective expertise of our clinical, consulting, delivery, technology, and operations teams. As an Epic Subject Matter Expert, you will leverage your background and expertise in Epic systems to act as a primary advisor between end-users, project team members and other information technology resources. Your guidance and insights will be instrumental in shaping transformation healthcare solutions. We are interested in applications from individuals with at least 1 active Epic certification, with the enthusiasm and drive to continue to broaden their experience.

Primary responsibilities of the Epic Subject Matter Expert (EHR):
• Lead medium to large complexity Epic software upgrade initiatives or enhancements to workflows including the design, build, and test phases
• Provide Epic product function, design, build, and testing expertise and experience for assigned Epic module(s)
• Collaborate with end users to design and build the Epic system in a timely and professional manner and make corrective configuration or enhancements
• Participate in design and validation sessions and ensure appropriate documentation, follow-up and issue escalation occurs
• Provide technical and/or clinical consultation including application configuration. Review, analyze, and evaluate system needs to develop recommendations for customers
• Serve as a mentor/subject matter expert to local and client-based team members
• Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders from initial requirements to final implementation

Required qualifications:
• Deep experience of Epic systems, with active / current Epic certification in at least one area
• Direct client healthcare domain knowledge such as clinical documentation workflow, patient portal, closing encounters, and patient flow
• Ability to take on a new application or project area with proven success
• Managing application specific work plans at the resource and task level
• Degree education or equivalent experience

• Ability to communicate tactfully and work effectively with patients, physicians, vendors and system staff at all levels
• Capable to lead and work well in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team
