Epi Associate Engineer - 2003491
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Primary Duties & Responsibilities* Support Production, ensure daily targets are met, timely dispositions/moves* Debug failures modes, drive root cause, corrective actions* Assists in the design, execution, and analysis of designed experiments.* Operates various wafer fabrication processing equipment, and associated metrology equipment.* Handling of fragile SiC wafers.* Performs quality inspections of in-process wafers using optical microscopes.* Entry (Spreadsheets/Databases) and analysis of process measurement data.* Majority of time spent working in the clean room environment, continuous improvements* Performs other functions as assigned by process engineer and special projects
Education & Experience* AE degree required* A minimum of 5 years of wafer fabrication experience (or related) preferred.* Experience with epitaxial growth, characterization, data basing and JMP data analysis required
Skills* Works in dynamic team environment* Computer skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, and automated SPC* Manual dexterity required to handle fragile wafers* Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills* Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
