Our Mount Vernon, IL location is seeking a Environmental Manager. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is dependable and accountable.

  THE POSITION

  Serves as the facility Environmental Manger, reporting to the ESH Manager. Oversees all facility Environmental compliance with legal and Central requirements.

  Internal and external environmental reporting, recordkeeping, and monitoring.

  Environmental regulations and requirements evaluation for new projects

  Project permitting and data gathering

  Environmental compliance litigation assistance

  Oversight of waste handling contractor

  Environmental training, awareness, and communication

  Implement and maintain an environmental management system according to ISO 14001 and internal standards

  Environmental audit and inspection reporting and corrective action implementation oversight

  Wastewater quality oversight and project investment

  Implementation and maintenance of central environmental initiatives and programs

  Develop concepts, procedures, or work instructions for environmental protection and continuous improvement

  Environmental Specialist(s) supervision and development

  NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor's Degree in related field

  3-5 years related experience

  Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions
