Environmental Manager – Bradley Construction Management
Environmental Manager Roles and Responsibilities: The Environmental Manager, as the Owner Project Manager’s representative, will provide quality control oversight and support to help ensure EPC Contract(s) compliance. The Environmental Manager will report to the Owner Project Manager and the (Bradley-BV) Construction Site Manager and assist the Owner Project Controller as needed.
Job Duties:
Complete and document civil quality control inspections;
Inspect civil works including roads, grading and wind turbine concrete foundations to ensure compliance with design documents and specifications;
Oversee road installation and improvements to include witnessing proof rolls and subsurface testing (as applicable) and ensure compliance with Road Use Agreements (as applicable);
Ensure EPC Contract(s)(s) is installing BMPs in compliance with the SWPPP;
Inspect road improvements for adequate drainage in compliance with the engineered design documents;
Inspect drainage installation;
Inspect turn radius improvements;
Recommend acceptance of completed civil works;
Work with EPC Contract(s)(s) to resolve quality issues;
Monitor EPC Contract(s)(s) progress and report potential delays or schedule risks to critical milestones to Owner Project Manager;
Ensure identified quality non-conformities are properly documented and resolved;
Review project documentation and verify job books are completed in a timely manner;
Responsible for ensuring punch list items are tracked and resolved;
Recommend acceptance of the completed project or Completion Certificates;
Report any issues to Owner Project Manager;
Coordinate with landowners as needed;
Ensure EPC Contract(s) adheres to the environmental plans and permit requirements;
Ensure EPC Contract(s) BMP installation and compliance per the SWPPP, and
Attend all pertinent site meetings, including Plan of the Day (POD) Meetings, End of Day (EOD)Meetings, Monthly Meetings, Safety Meetings, etc.
Essential Functions:
Inspection of all Civil/foundation work performed by EPC Contract(s);
Ensure all quality control documentation is maintained properly onsite and available on Viewpoint;
Verify all non-conformances and quality items are tracked to closure;
Works collaboratively with EPC Contract(s) and other site team members, as well as the Owner Project Management Team;
Track and report on actual construction progress and identify potential impacts to the schedule;
Upholds safety standards and requirements and ensures safety protocols onsite are followed, and
Communicate effectively and professionally.

Read and fully understand the Civil scope of work and QC requirements as outlined in the following documents:
Construction Agreement and Exhibits
Turbine Supply Agreement (TSA) and Exhibits
Padmount Transformer (PMT) Supply Agreement
Main Power Transformer (MPT) Agreement
Others as applicable
Site Safety
Read and be familiar with the requirements of EPC Contract(s)’s Site Safety Plan;
Actively participate in EPC Contract(s) All-hands Safety Meetings and morning safety meetings, and
Immediately report any significant injuries to the Construction Site Manager, Owner Project Manager and Owner Safety Manager. In the event of a life-threatening injury or a fatality follow the Emergency Notification Procedure.
Punch List and Final Project Closing
Manage the completion of the EPC Contract(s) Civil punch list items and review the Civil as-built drawings for completeness, and
Perform a detailed quality check of EPC Contract(s)’s Civil as-built drawings.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years’ related experience in the wind construction industry;
Bachelor’s degree or technical certification in civil and/or structural engineering
Demonstrated understanding of both civil and structural installation, civil engineered drawings, and quality control inspections;
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and problem-solving techniques;
Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, OSHA 30 preferred;
Comfortable with fast paced, rapidly changing environment;
Ability to solve problems and make informed decisions quickly;
Able to create and maintain quality control documents in Microsoft Excel and Word;
Attentive to details and efficiencies, and
Must have a valid current driver license.
