Overview
The Manager, EH&S Safety Programs is responsible for the development and implementation of safety programs that align with the environmental, health and safety objectives of ABM. The Manager, EH&S Safety Programs develops written Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, training materials and other safety policies and procedures and guidance. The Manager, EH&S Safety Programs will utilize internal and external information in the development of the safety programs including:
Regulatory requirements
Industry best practices
Safety performance data and key indicators
Incident root cause and recommended corrective actions
OSHA investigations
ABM business partners safety requirements
Pay: $100,000 - $112,000
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Essential Functions:
Develop written safety programs, Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions and training material
Monitor federal and state regulatory safety rules for applicability to ABM
Evaluate existing safety programs for currency and best practices, performing gap analysis as required
Review incident investigations to identify lessons learned opportunities
Actively partner with ABM Safety support groups and Operations to provide needed safety guidance
Align Safety Programs priorities and objectives with Industry Group/Region/Market priorities
Required Qualifications:
Education:
BS/BA or AA in Safety Management, Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health Technology, Industrial Hygiene, Business, or a related fieldExperience:
3-5 years’ experience in the field of Safety and Regulatory Compliance
Experience in the development of safety policies, procedures, or training
Other:
Possess working knowledge of Fed and State OSHA regulations
Above average competency with MS suite of applications
Good written and verbal communication skills
Certifications/Licenses:
