Job Description
We have a great opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated EHS Site Manager, with a drive for improvement and ability to make decisions to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment. As EHS Site Manager you will report to the UK EHS Leader and work closely with the manufacturing team. Based at Rugby, your key responsibilities will be:
Actively work with the business to change and improve the HSE CultureChallenge the status quo and practices and focus on identifying improvementsProvide support and guidance to stakeholders on continual improvementsOwn the HSE KPI's, analyse the data, then drive tactical and strategic programmes for improvementManage and support risk reduction of high-risk operations, such as electrical safety, working at height, lifting operations etcLiaise with external agencies such as Local Authorities, HSE and the EAUndertake incident investigations and root cause analyses.Manage & maintain ISO14001 and ISO45001 accreditation.Review and update the company's EHS Policies and ProceduresManage the internal audit programmeEliminate waste and drive lean processes into the EHS procedures and practically on the shop floor
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, qualifications, and experience:
Hold a NEBOSH CertificateIdeally be a member or IOSH and working towards CMIOSHHave experience with maintaining ISO14001&45001 (auditing qualification not essential)Experience of creating a strong, positive HSE cultureHave a pro-active and hands on approach to workingAbility to provide guidance/ make decisionsPragmatic approach and ability to work with employees at all levels
