A successful Environment & Supply Chain Innovation (ESCI) Product Manager has very strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to effectively influence all levels of the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer electronics components, design and manufacturing development cycles, supply chains, and international human rights due diligence frameworks and standards. Successful ESCI Product Managers are fearless organizers and excellent leaders cross-functionally with multiple teams throughout Apple. A successful candidate will set strategy, execute on schedule, and be responsible for managing/presenting status and issues to ensure products are consistent with Apple Values. The ESCI Product Manager owns the responsibility of ensuring Apple is designing and shipping only the very best products for people and planet.

Proven project management skills, and capable of working with interdisciplinary project teams. Ability to effectively work with design, engineering and operations teams to define efficient ESCI features for product design and supply chain selection. A systems problem solver who can work through complex interconnections, identify key points of leverage across the entire company to achieve desired business goals, and develop frameworks to scale approach. Background in working with engineers and design teams in the areas of l human rights; responsible use; trust and safety; privacy; or equivalent. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter with innovation, integrity and attention to details. Passion for environment and human rights practices.

• Strategically integrate all ESCI programs into early design and product roadmap, including consistency with Apple's Supplier Code of Conduct and Human Rights policy; identify and address gaps. • Develop ESCI 'should-design' framework for Vision Pro and other products of strategic importance, and create accountability structure that drives design teams to meet these targets with a high level of autonomy. • Using scaling approaches, challenge generally accepted supply chain, design, and feature rules to expedite progress towards Apple2030; work towards cross-functional implementation. • Design templates and deploy tools that enable cross-functional Engineering, Operations, and Industrial Design teams to identify and drive meaningful environmental opportunities with autonomy that extend the reach of the environmental teams. • Plan for and provide tradeoff recommendation frameworks to cross functional and executive teams to empower decision making. • Proactively share product roadmaps to ESCI teams, ensuring collective awareness and proactive management of major shifts impacting their programs. • Develop a solid understanding of Apple's environment, health & safety, and labor & human rights standards and translate into clear objectives for Engineering, Operations, and Industrial Design teams.

BA/BS - Preference for a degree which includes product design fundamentals, or working experience in a product design role 8+ years of relevant experience Knowledge of international human rights due diligence frameworks and standards a plus.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $148,200 and $223,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
