Context:
The Environment, Health and Safety Analyst, located in Plainfield, IL, is responsible for leading a wide range of reporting, improvement initiatives, and analytical duties supporting North America Governance!
The role supports initiatives in Supply and Demand business. It also liaises with the Global Governance and Sustainability teams to ensure we are consistent with the global standards and policies.
Delivering creative programs for improving and sustaining compliance and measuring effectiveness is paramount.
Purpose of Role:
Lead data collection, validation, reporting & analytical assessment of North America Market (NAM) Governance KPIs (key performance indicators)Collaborate with project management and site governance teams to update visual management data for reporting of actuals and predicted environmental performance.Support NA to accurately report Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) performance and follow other regulatory or global reporting and permit requirements.Support the validation of monthly EHS data through trend analysis and site engagement.Work with engineering and project managers to ensure all sustainability-related projects have quantified water, energy, carbon, or packaging impacts.Support transition of NA site EHS regulatory compliance requirements into EHS software modules.Track NA EHS Incidents and open action items.Update NAM EHS standards & procedures as necessaryCompile standard methodology documents & Society2030 project achievements and awards.Regional Superuser for eQMS and Enablon software platforms.Building capabilities at each location for effective use of each solution so our teams can maintain document control, performance monitoring, incident investigations, and audits. Responsible to roll out to the region any updates from global and raise issues with the system.Organize our standards and GRMS documentation to align with appropriate methodology.Responsible for handling a wide range of reporting and analytical duties supporting the broader Governance teams.Handle the governance onboarding training program. Assign all governance training (EHS, quality, risk, regulatory, asset care, data) to new joiners or movers and track completion. Maintain control of training documents.Provide technical support for eQMS and Enablon to our NA Supply team and responsible to communicate any updates.Assure proper document control is in place, follow relevant CARM controls and alignment to ways of working.
Complexity of Role:
The role will have direct interactions with the Operations team and the Regional Governance, EHS and ManEx managers.Interact with the Global Governance team to maintain documentation and share information.eQMS & Enablon super-user and trainer for our region.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Degree required with an emphasis in science, data science, Supply Chain, or a technical field relevant to consumer package goods (packaging, food science, quality, etc.) preferred.1 to 3 years’ experience preferably in the beverage/food business or CPG companies managing and analyzing EHS risks and data sets.Experience and understanding of EHS management systems or sustainability preferred.Demonstrated ability to analyze data to produce meaningful insights and reports that drive actionable opportunities.Proven ability to work independently.Good at networking to establish excellent relationships at all levels.Experience using data analysis programs (Microsoft PowerBI) is desired.Enthusiastic curiosity about new technology and training othersProficient at data analysis, especially with identifying the drivers for data trends.Effective presentation and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel an average of 10-15%
