The Topeka Capital-Journal is seeking an enterprise reporter to produce exclusive stories that will focus on solutions-based reporting and service journalism for community issues.
This reporting position will be one that oversees education and local government while producing solutions-oriented stories about homelessness, housing, wage inequity, school access, rising grocery prices and so many other ideas that meet at the intersections of these important community topics. This beat offers the opportunity to go out and find the best stories.
This reporter is expected to consistently break exclusive news. He or she will identify, produce and post stories, photos and video quickly and accurately across multiple platforms, including social media.
