About the Role
The Uber New Verticals team is seeking a leader to lead the Enterprise Partner Management Team in Canada. The ideal candidate will have shown success in building joint partnerships with Enterprise level retail partners, mentoring and developing their people, handling senior executive relationships, and developing scalable processes.

New Verticals is a fast-growing startup within Uber that enables consumers to get just about anything delivered through the Uber Eats app or UberEats.com. Groceries, Convenience, Alcohol, Retail and even Cannabis delivery are managed by the Uber New Verticals team.
What You'll Do
You'll have end-to-end accountability for leading commercial agreements with strategic partners and driving growth across priority business metrics such as gross bookings, net inflows, active locations as well as key operational levers such as Found/Fill rate, average basket size and other relevant Retail MetricsCoach and develop a robust team of Partner Managers to drive mutual growth for our Merchant-customers and Uber New VerticalsCreate a strong team culture within your team and Uber New Verticals as a whole that attracts top talent internally and externallyDevelop outstanding, indispensable partnerships between Uber and top merchant partners by empowering your teamCollaborate closely with operations, marketing, legal and product to develop Joint Business plan plans with your partners that drive long-term growthConsult with Product Marketing and Product teams to help shape product development in support of partner needsBe an internal and external thought-partner with senior stakeholders in regards to the future of retail delivery, retail partnerships and growing the user base for New-Vertical merchantsEmploy critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate complex relationships.
Basic Qualifications
6+ years of sales/account management experience in a high growth company; ideally B2B experience and developing C-suite relationships with Enterprise-level partnersExperience in people management or mentorship
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Retail, Grocery or CPG businessProven history of coaching team members to develop skills and grow their careersProficiency building Joint Business Plans with top partnersStrong use of insights and data-driven decision making to inform strategyAbility to adapt to changes; Uber's high growth means frequent change for teamsHighly creative; passion to change and revolutionize the delivery industryOutstanding written and verbal communication, and organizational skillsSelf-starter and collaborative leader.
