Kforce has a client that is seeking an Enterprise Network Security Manager in San Antonio, TX.Essential Job Functions: Enterprise Network Security Manager will provide strategic direction and operational leadership in developing and supporting IT Security and Network Infrastructure solutions and processes Serves as liaison and subject matter expert between Information Technology Services Security division and Network Operations along with all entities wishing to deploy business solutions requiring IT infrastructure and Security integration Defines and optimizes all processes related to infrastructure solutions and their implementation Drives staff, faculty, administrators, and executive management to consensus on common IT infrastructure technical solutions, related business practices, and functional processes Responds to security violations and events with on-call support and incident management Develops, implements, or coordinates corrective actions for security vulnerabilities to ensure integrity and confidentiality of information resources As an Enterprise Network Security Manager, you will apply reasonable security measures to strengthen systems and data integrity Educates appropriate personnel on security requirements, configurations, and use of monitoring tools Identifies and tracks key IT infrastructure functional issues and performance metrics Leads and facilitates stakeholder discussions Leads functional teams and leadership to consensus on appropriate solutions Researches, designs, analyzes, implements, tests, and documents IT infrastructure solutions, such as Storage Encryption, Micro Segmentation, Network Access Control, Network Baseline Anomaly Detection, DLP business rules, and configurations to meet functional requirements Resolves resource and technical issues as needed
Requirements
In depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components including all aspects of IP data networking, wireless networking, servers and storage, communications wiring and circuits, IP telephony, and mobile computing Comprehensive knowledge of academic IT demands and typical IT infrastructure project requirements Advanced knowledge of security related monitoring, intrusion detection and scanning tools such as Rapid 7/Nexpose, Wireshark, SIEM logging software such as Splunk or similar tool Advanced knowledge of Azure Active Directory and group policies Knowledge network routing, BGP, OSPF, VRFs and VLANs Knowledge of large system-level analysis, design, and technical problem-solving Knowledge of IT governance processes including ITIL, Change Management, and Problem Management In-depth understanding of PMI Project Management and IT project management processes Good organizational and project management skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Team player who works well with others Strong follow-up skills and commitment to project success Attention to details and dedication to quality Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, faculty, and the public Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Analytical and problem-solving ability Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and processes Must be willing/able to respond after hours to correct systems problems Must be willing/able to work after hours to meet system installation and maintenance window
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
