About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant (Military Apprentice) to primarily support 2nd shift (12pm - 8pm MT) in a Wells Fargo Enterprise Incident Management Command Center.
The position will support a team that provides ongoing monitoring and identification of incidents having the potential for operational risk to Wells Fargo customers, employees, and buildings across the company's global footprint.
Responsibilities include providing oversight and impact summary of any potential or existing incidents based upon defined and repeatable impact assessment methodologies, and escalation of risk analysis to ensure timely and effective response by Enterprise Incident Management leadership. Chandler Arizona represents one of 3 Command Centers and will primarily provide 2nd shift coverage (12-8 MT), in support of our ability to monitor global events impacting Wells Fargo in a 24/7/365 always-on event intake, detection, triage, and response environment.
Additional responsibilities may include:
Triggering the broader Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) and support response model when activated including notification and call support for:
Emerging risk and incident assessment
Activation of the company's Enterprise Incident Command Center response structure
Communicating risk and response activities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
In this role, you will:
Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives
Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations
Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business
Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience
Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures
Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners
Required Qualifications, US:
2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.Desired Qualifications:
Military experience in any branch of service: Army, National Guard, Air Force, Space Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard or Reserves.
Education in and/or experience with concepts of incident management and risk intelligence
Understanding of resiliency, emergency management, and incident response
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Effectively work in a highly matrixed organization
Knowledge and understanding of business intelligence
Familiarity with ArcGIS or other geospatial mapping tools
Familiarity with Everbridge Mass Notification or other notification tools
Job Expectations:
Enrollment into Wells Fargo's DOL Registered Apprentice Program is required. Apprentices are considered full-time employees within the program. As such, Apprentices are expected to not only uphold and adhere to Wells Fargo and the Apprenticeship Program, but also expected to follow Wells Fargo's prescribed policies, procedures, and employee expectations
Ability to work in a 24/7 command center
This position will require on-call, weekends, and holiday work as needed
Education in and/or experience with concepts of incident management and risk intelligence
Understanding of resiliency, emergency management, and incident response
Contribute to the development and refinement of incident response procedures, job aides
Apprentices within the U.S. Department of Labor accredited Apprenticeship program perform a variety of structured duties, including a combination of (however, not limited to) on-the-job training, coursework and mentorship, under the supervision of a hiring manager, program manager and a mentor. Apprenticeships are designed to assist in the professional development of an apprentice, in preparation for the post-apprenticeship role. Program Managers will facilitate an apprentice's required path for professional development. This ensures an apprentice will have gained the proficiency and obtained the required experience of a fully functioning Senior Business Execution Consultant
