Position Summary:
As an Enterprise Data Solutions & Analytics Director for Royal Caribbean Group, you will have responsibility for leading agile multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, data platform, and BI professionals responsible for developing enterprise data products, reporting and analytics capabilities that help drive growth, increase revenue and efficiency of our operations. You will work in India for up to 36 months (Likely to be in India as expat for the first 18 months) with key stakeholders across the organization in designing, building and delivering best in class Vacation Experience Analytics & Reporting capabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluate and drive data management processes (i.e., define best practices and processes to support efficiencies within customer, products, and vendor data management) Help define data consolidation strategy, design, and roadmap. Partner with business partners to identify data products and subject areas. Lead data-driven initiatives making crucial technology decisions to enhance our data infrastructure capabilities. Drive the completion of data, reporting, and platform work in alignment with key enterprise initiatives and enterprise data strategy. Align with Chief Data Officer to ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy. Lead Data and Reporting teams to deliver a consolidated revenue subject area and reporting. Become part of the Argonaut, a multi-year transformation project aims at modernizing RCGs reservation system. Drive progress of the data and reporting work Contribute to technology architecture. Build a culture of innovation, data curiosity, and collaboration. Administration, maintenance and monitoring of all Database Platforms: OLTP, OLAP and Datawarehouse Responsible for the integration or interfaces between all corporate and ships applications to Datawarehouse Management of data feed from shore to ship and ship to shore.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent Minimum 15 years technology leadership Minimum 10 years people leadership with at least 3 years of mid-level management (managing managers) 10 years' experience in the data field including data engineering, Data Governance, and Data Analytics and Systems Architecture Proven track record of leading successful analytics engineering teams and delivering impactful data solutions Passionate about helping organizations gain business value by leveraging data Experience in data modernization Experience in data analytics strategy Experience executing large scale programs Experience in developing Data Engineering CoEs and communities of practice Experience in big data, No SQL, and Cloud data warehousing Expertise in building and managing complex data platforms using modern data tech stack Strong writing and presentation skills with the ability to develop effective narratives utilizing strategy, priorities and data
