KinderCare is currently seeking a passionate Data Architect to propel our Digital Transformation through the strategic power of information — by helping us implement a modern data architecture, modeling high business value data, and by designing and implementing Data Governance. This is a superb chance to create and implement a Data Governance program, lead the way for new Data Services, and help us move to a modern, API-based platform with a new integration platform. Responsibilities:
In collaboration with business partners, identify, define, and analyze how information assets aid strategies and support business outcomes across the organizationProvide guidance on business-relevant information inside and outside of KinderCare that needs to be available and shared consistently across the enterpriseDevelop data-centric strategies and provide direction for data models and data architecture standard processes for the companyEnsure effective data governance and make modifications to existing governance processes and structures to optimize value, while seeking to discover and detail the data and analytics requirements for information of all usesCraft data models for operational databases and data storesProvide enterprise solutions to specific business problems and issues across many domains, especially as they relate to running and using data
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent is required5 or more years' working as a Data ArchitectDemonstrated experience with ERP systems (Workday) and CRM (Salesforce)Deep technical competence with architecting cloud-based data-centric solutions in AWS (preferred), Microsoft Azure, or Google CloudSophisticated ability in successfully implementing or improving a Data Governance model; full range experience with modern data architectureHighly collaborative with outstanding ability to influence decisions across business functions or influence technologies paths using analysis and factsExceptional verbal and written communication skills with tremendous comfort communicating at all levels of the organization
