Enterprise Architect

CSC is looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our team to help define the architecture to align the overall architecture together to support the strategic goals of Enterprise technology (ET).
ET provides global platforms and infrastructure to business-unit oriented digital product teams. ET embarked on a transformation of ET to enable a full-self-service on-premises private cloud. We are enabling infrastructure-as-code infrastructure platforms and self-service Iaas/PaaS-like products. We are making a significant investment in new and refactored cloud-ready container-based applications.
ET uses a business architecture, application architecture, and infrastructure architecture to design ET as a business unit and guide our transformation.
Our Enterprise Architect will work in an integrated Architecture / Engineering / Product Team that directly serves the CIO and ET's executive leadership team. Our Enterprise Architect will help our capability leaders to deliver platforms that delight our in-house application development teams. Our Enterprise Architect will contribute to develop an integrated architecture of the enterprise using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available CSC and industry standard techniques.
Leadership: as Individual contributor the Enterprise Architect will develop the ET architecture and guide its development, implementation, and maintenance. The Enterprise Architect also acts as a mentor to key personnel, assisting in the execution of duties upon request, and readying these key personnel for the occupation of new positions.
Strategy: The Enterprise Architect will align CSC strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding products and services, organization, capabilities, and key business and IT initiatives. The Enterprise Architect plays a key role helping in structuring the Capabilities, Processes, and will work closely with the Data, Cloud and Solution Architects and Engineering and Product Teams. The Enterprise Architect play a key role in governance; leveraging the architecture to guide and constrain development activities.
Collaboration: The Enterprise Architect plays a highly collaborative role where he works closely with other Enterprise Architecture team members in defining long-term strategies, roadmaps, as well as with ET Engineering Leads & Business Unit (BU) Application Development Leads to establish standards and best practices.

Build and grow strong and effective relationships within ET Leadership, CSC, and its business units Recommend and participate in the analysis, evaluation, and development of enterprise's long-term strategic and operating plans to ensure that the AG objectives are consistent with the enterprise's long-term business objectives Maintain in-depth knowledge of ET's strategic business plans Provide architectural consulting expertise, direction, and assistance to ET Leadership. Draw conclusions and effectively communicates findings with both technical and non-technical team members, providing active leadership skills across project teams and the business community Setting the vision, gathering requirements, gaining business consensus, performing vendor and product evaluations, mentoring business and development resources, assistance in delivering highly scalable solutions, training, and documentationWhat technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
Highly self-motivated and directed Experience and demonstrated success in developing architectures and guiding the change to realize them Ability to translate broader business initiatives into clear team objectives and concrete individual goals, aligning appropriately with other groups for efficient, coordinated action Ability to work collaboratively across organizational lines Experience designing and building complex systems Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills Ability to coach and mentor technical skill, method and critical thinking Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Value-based & Principle-based decision making Ability to exercise independent judgment and take action on it Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail Communication and execution of IT strategies Understanding and practice of applying an enterprise architecture framework; TOGAF, SABSA, or similar frameworks preferred. Experience using enterprise architecture tools; ABACUS experience preferred
