Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Outreach, education and enrollment for the currently uninsured or underinsured populations and will present to those populations the options available under the ACA.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Ability to handle eligibility phone calls, community referrals and scheduling appointments.
Typing, heavy filing, computer literate, able to utilize Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Excel, Access and Word and the Google Workspace.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience working in the community in a health-related field.
High school diploma/GED.
CT EEF = Certification by the DOI as an Exchange Enrollment Facilitator (EEF) within 60 days of hire.
Nevada Health Link EEF Training completed within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the health insurance industry.
Experience enrolling the uninsured in the Exchange.
Experience in event planning and presentations
Current Certification by the DOI as an Exchange Enrollment Facilitator (EEF).
Current Nevada Health Link designation.
Pay Range
$14.15 - $19.45 /hour
