　　THE POSITION

　　DESCRIPTION OF WORK

　　This position provides an entry-level opportunity to gain practical experience in various engineering technology fields. Through a 12-month training program, you will receive comprehensive training to enhance your technical skills. As a member of a highway design team, your role will be crucial in assisting with the creation of highway plans, bridge plans, right-of-way plot plans, and other related drawings. You will support the supervisor in all aspects of the work to ensure efficient and effective operations of the team.

　　Work Schedule and Additional Information:

　　Full-time employment

　　Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

　　Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, schedule is determined by District and Statewide Policy. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Uniontown.

　　Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

　　An associate degree in surveying, drafting, designing, civil, or any other appropriate field of engineering technology.

　　Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
