As the Engineering Manager for the Email Integrations team, youll lead a dedicated group of engineers in developing software to connect Zendesks flagship Support product to external email providers. Email integrations play a crucial role in Zendesk's product offering. We send and receive millions of emails a day and our customers rely on us to keep email processing and notification sending fast and free of errors.
Youll work closely with Product and Design partners, and sibling engineering teams to support existing and develop new services and features with scalability and reliability top of mind. You lead with a strong sense of core values that align with Zendesks.

Required Experience
At least one year of leadership experience in an agile software engineering environment - preferably managing a team of 3-8 engineers.Previous technical experience crafting large scale software solutions tested in production environments, preferably in a SAAS environment.Previous experience writing large-scale backend code, Java, Ruby or Go.Proven understanding of challenges appearing in large scale integrations.Love for learning and applying your knowledge: supporting your team to increase its collective expertise.A good appreciation of application development and testing, refactoring and agile practices.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts.
Nice To have
Familiarity with email technologies and standards. MTAs, Microsoft Exchange, Office360, SMTP, IMAP, etc..Experience with the modern cloud environment, ideally AWS.Experience in building software using Kubernetes and Docker.

The Poland annualized base salary range for this position is zł276,000.00-zł414,000.00. Please note that while the salary range represents the minimum and maximum base salary rate for this position, the actual compensation offered will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives that will be communicated during the offer stage.
