The length of this internship will be 8-10 weeks during the Summerof 2024. This internship will be based out of one of our US locations.What you'll do:Develop and help maintain standard work for all processes and positions,along with working with other teams to share best practices with respect tofollowing & modifying standard work.Design/Improve/Contribute to (new) product development.Ensure Lean principals (5S, Standard Work, TPM, etc.) areimplemented in any new or redesigned piece of equipment.Eliminate chronic problems by using various problem-solving techniques.Ensure an effective manufacturing process control program that maintains focuson prevention of internal rejects, writes protocols and performs validationsof new/improved materials and processes.Assist in continuous improvement projects.Performs Other Duties as Assigned.What you'll bring:Graduating Spring of 2025 with an Engineering degree.Experience in outside organizations with an emphasis in leadership abilities.SolidWorks or related 3D design software preferable.Atkore is a recipient of a Great Place to Work certification and a TopWorkplaces USA award!
