Overview of the Position:
Provides project management of multiple engineering projects, reverse engineering, and technical writing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reverse engineer, troubleshoot, and repair of various aircraft components, both electrical and mechanical, using manual and automatic measuring equipment.
Establish measurement tolerances using accepted industry practices and/or review of next higher assemblies.
Create, revise, and review designs using Solidworks 3D CAD Software platform and /or Altium PCB software.
Create PMA (Parts Manufacturing Authority) and Repair Process Supporting Documentation Packages for submittal to the FAA and/or customers.
Research, collect data, and work with design teams to evaluate, select, adapt, and modify techniques, procedures and criteria to solve problems.
Other Knowledge , Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of industry related sales and marketing principles.
Strong technical writing skills.
Has an understanding of both the Repair Station and Design and Development quality manuals
Ability to understand regulatory requirements for airworthiness for FAA and various foreign authorities.
Experience in the quality control and new product development within the aviation industry.
Education / Experience Requirements: College graduation with degree or demonstrated equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree (Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering preferred); or equivalent as determined by the hiring manager.
