We're seeking a Senior Energy Planner with consulting experience to join our Energy and Power Solutions Group. Our preferred candidate is someone with an extensive depth and breadth of expertise that can serve as an expert within the field of energy master planning, particularly with regard to decarbonization and resiliency, and apply their experience in the industry to today's challenges.
Your projects will include a diverse array of client types including developing plans for agencies, campuses, cities, and governments globally. Core competencies include energy and water conservation, onsite generation and storage, system efficiency, district energy, microgrids, infrastructure resilience, and control systems. Evaluation and modeling of system demand and potential supply strategies using spreadsheets, analysis tools, and industry leading propriety software applications.
In this position, you will be expected to interpret internal and external business issues and recommend best practices, apply functional knowledge to solve complex problems and apply a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. You'll also play an integral role in mentoring staff, as well as forming and maintaining long term client relationships.

Here’s what you’ll need :
B.S. in Engineering or related engineering discipline
Professional Registration (P.E.)
Experience of energy or utilities master planning
Experience in the development of holistic solutions from demand to production with various technologies such as renewables, combined heat and power, energy storage, heat pump chillers, and other technologies.
Successful track record of technical quality management while meeting established project schedule and budget requirements
Travel ability
Ideally, you'll also have experience with the following systems and applications:
Experience with Net Zero Planning
Experience in leading stakeholder engagement and goal setting sessions.
Experience developing and delivering plan results to client leadership
Proposal support and business development
Experience developing analytic tools
