Job Details: Summary of Duties: Responsiblefor providing information on integrated services of various COIC andpartner programs. Perform assessment functions and help determinecustomer needs. Work closely with employers, as well as community andworkforce partners to determine customer needs and connect availabletraining and related supportive resources to meet those needs. Determinewhen to employ COIC employment and training resources to meet identifiedneeds, per current policy and processes. Responsible for case managementfocused on increasing customers\' employment and earnings and decreasingreliance on public assistance. May manage partner programs, conductworkshops, participate in outreach efforts to promote programs tobusinesses and job seekers, share front desk coverage in WorkSourcecenters and other program projects as assigned. EssentialQualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: \' Bachelor\'s degreein related field or the equivalent combination of education andexperience in related field may be substituted. \' Effective use of oraland written communication skills. \' Must have demonstrated the abilityto work positively and encourage success with high-risk targetpopulation. \' Knowledge of the Central Oregon labor market, thepublic/private business sectors, and local community resources. \'Ability to prepare clear, concise reports. \' Proficient in use ofExcel, Word and MS Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms such as,Microsoft Teams and Zoom. \' Attention to detail is critical. \' Mustmaintain client and agency confidentiality. \' Must have the ability towork independently and effectively without close supervision as well aswithin a team environment. \' Utilize effective time management andorganizational skills. \' Valid driver\'s license and access to privatevehicle or equivalent means of transportation. \' Must be able to pass apre-employment criminal background. \' If backing up the MobileEmployment Counselor, this position will also require passing andmaintaining a clean comprehensive drug screen and a clean DMV backgroundcheck that includes DMV record monitoring.
