A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our People Services & Delivery function.
Reporting to the Head of Policy and Labour Relations, you will be responsible to work across multiple Computershare business lines within Hong Kong and China.

A role you will love
You will be working with other members of the ER function, will take the lead on Global and Local People Policy development in line with strategic goals, ensuring all our global policies are legally compliant. Working on their own or in conjunction with the continuous improvement team, you will implement new policies, develop manager toolkits and templates and training as appropriate.
The incumbent will undertake regular horizon scanning to ensure we are abreast of future legal changes impacting policies as well as understanding market best practice. Additionally, you will provide SME support to the case management team on complex, sensitive or high risk cases as and when required.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Providing subject matter support and expertise to global people change programmes and global policy development. Accountability for managing complex case escalations, change programme escalation. Responsible for supporting the development of the jurisdiction teams, through provision of SME input and expertise.Coach and educate the wider People Function to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and best practiceLead Employee Forums and maintain relationships with employee representatives, forums, Works Councils and trade unions in respect of ongoing employment practices and people changes and communications
What will you bring to the role?
To excel in this role, you will have relevant professional HR qualification or significant ER case management experience. You will also bring strong understanding of employment law across several local jurisdictions. You will have an

In depth understanding of local policies and procedures and to keep abreast of new updates and policies. High level problem solving capability is required in order to ensure solutions for improvement deliver business benefit. Overall understanding of the cultural aspects of the various businesses across the local portfolios. Ability to coach and support more junior members of the ER teamPossess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain key relationships internally and externallyExcellent English, Cantonese and Mandarin skills
