This role provides operational leadership, Employee Relations expertise, and drives service excellence across the Employee Relations functional team within the assigned geography. The ER Manager will apply leading best practices to enable a best-in-class customer experience that includes monitoring trends using data analytics within the assigned geography, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, provide training and education, and achievement of agreed-upon performance metrics. The ER Manager takes immediate action to drive exceptional service delivery through ER-specific consultation. The role also includes responsibility to integrate new ER programs, policies and procedures into the Employee Relations delivery model ensuring effective and consistent implementation and adoption of the model

Partnering with ER Practice and Program Owners to design, implement, manage, and deliver ER solutions, including process design and enabling technology. Align with HR and ER strategic goals to lead an organization of deep subject-matter expertise and innovative solutions to consult on ER programs, processes, and people, delivering scalable, best-in-class employee relations solutions.Driving day-to-day performance of their ER team by monitoring, tracking and interpreting SLA metrics, and achieve operational excellence as measured internally and against external benchmarks to drive improvement. Monitor and manage staffing needs for the ER team in the assigned geography.Overseeing ER service delivery operations, responding to escalated service demands as needed (e.g., complex investigations, case volume, staff absence, process execution, disciplinary action, etc.)Influencing colleagues, customers, and collaborators to ensure acceptance of and compliance with new processes and tools. Manage adoption of new scope of work, including knowledge development to support consultation.Collaborating with other ER locations/hubs to provide a consistent application of the ER portfolio of services and share best practices.Identifying ways to innovate, improve, scale, and leverage E2E ER delivery capabilities, including the integration of enabling technology. Oversee implementation of continuous improvement opportunities to current processes utilizing ER case management system. Ability to identify trends through use of data analytics.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree or Equivalent in in Human Resources, Business, Management, Organization Development, or related field.Minimum 10 years' experience Human Resources with a minimum of seven years of investigation experience orMBA with 8 years' experience in HR with a minimum of seven years of investigation experience
What else we look for:
Experience and understanding of HR enabling technologies (e.g., case management, employee and manager self-service) within a customer service environment (ServiceNow preferred).Experience with an ERP system (Workday preferred).Experience working collaboratively to facilitate the delivery of employee relations programs across numerous locations.Experience with Microsoft tools and applications required.Strong knowledge of Employee Relations processes, ER-related regulations and requirements, and services administered within ER Function.Knowledge of HR enabling technologies within a customer service environment.Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, standard business practices and professionalism in a customer service environment.Specialized knowledge of end-to-end solutions related to Employee Relations.Exceptional customer service orientation.Detail-oriented and high work standards in support of seamless execution.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.Solid knowledge of ER industry and technology trends and applicable regulatory requirements.Ability to interact with all levels of employees.Proven relationship management experience with the ability to develop trust and influence positive outcomes.Ability to drive issues to resolution while maintaining an atmosphere of collaboration and confidentiality.Strong team collaboration and ability to support and motivate others to achieve goals/targets.Capable of acting decisively while thinking strategically.Ability to balance workload and competing priorities.Excellent judgment, political sensitivity, and ability to maintain confidentiality and act discreetly.Successful record of improving and executing programs as scale.Excellent verbal and written communication skills
