Job Overview
As a Battery Protection Product Manager specializing in High Voltage (HV) Contactors, you will play a pivotal role in the development, management, and optimization of battery protection products. This position demands proficiency in product management and a comprehensive understanding of battery protection technologies. You will lead initiatives to ensure the successful development, launch, and lifecycle management of these specialized products.
The primary responsibility of a Product Manager in this domain is to contribute to the development and execution of a robust portfolio and pricing strategy. Your focus will be on supporting growth, increasing TE's market share, and collaborating within a multifunctional cross-regional team to enhance profitability. As the Product Manager, you will oversee the design, execution, and growth of the Battery Protection portfolio, aligning with Automotive business unit strategies to optimize market position and financial returns.
Responsibilities:
Identifying market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
Supporting product portfolio management and developing new products and processes aligned with the business strategy to enhance TE's Battery Protection portfolio competitiveness.
Taking charge of cross-functional collaboration to establish sales, technology, and operational strategies in line with financial targets.
Advocating for new product requirements and collaborating with R&D and operations for innovative product development to meet current and future customer needs.
Introducing our products on-site at customer locations and through online and print media, while maintaining customer contacts.
Providing guidance on capacity planning through demand forecasting and closely collaborating with the supply chain.
Assisting the sales department with pricing strategies.
Requirements:
Completed studies in industrial engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in product management and/or B2B marketing, preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong technical and commercial understanding, with knowledge of battery protection or e-mobility applications being highly desirable.
Fluency in English.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proactive and unconventional thinking with strong analytical skills.
Willingness to travel within the EMEA region (up to 25%).
