About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless coordination of demand planning, forecasting, and supply planning activities for the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to optimize our supply chain processes.
What you'll be doing:
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other relevant departments to gather demand forecasts and market insights.Utilize historical data, market trends, and predictive analytics to generate accurate demand forecasts.Monitor and evaluate the accuracy of demand forecasts, making adjustments as necessary to minimize forecast errors.Develop supply plans for brands manufactured in EMEA to align with global demand forecasts, production capacities, and inventory targets.Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory situations.Analyze production schedules, lead times, and supplier capabilities to optimize supply planning processes.Anticipate and address potential supply constraints and bottlenecks.Facilitate regular meetings to review demand and supply planning updates, address concerns, and align strategies.Participate in the implementation and enhancement of supply chain planning tools and software.
What you'll need:
Proficient experience with data management and analysis in Microsoft Excel is critical. Experience with MS Office applications, Power BI and Smartsheet is required.Excellent communication skills and must be detail oriented.Must be able to understand information warehouse systems data, extract and manipulate information in meaningful way. Basic inventory management approaches (working capital tracking, turns, DOH) and financial reporting skills needed. Must be able to present information orally or in written format professionally. Must be able to work in time critical and at times, high stress environment. Must be able to work alone or in team setting successfully.
