WiFi BLE Test Engineer- eInfochips
Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities
Work as an individual contributor as part of customer's extended team.
Working experience in WiFi covering 802.11 ax/ac/ay/ad, Bluetooth (BTC/BLE) covering different profiles (A2DP/HFP/AVRCP/GATT/L2CAPCOC/ etc)
Experience in connectivity technology validation in protocol and performance characterization (RvR, RvOvR)
Experience in bring up and usage of connectivity test equipment like Octobox, Veriwave, Vertex etc
Experience with WiFi, BT packet sniffers like - iPerf, Wireshark, tcpdump, Btool, Ellisys etc.
Experience in traffic genrators tools like - iGen, Ixia Chariot, iPerf, etc.
Shall be able to capture, analyze / review sniffer logs, comment on problem area
Define test plan, write up test plan, test cases.
Experience in application, framework, network protocol (WiFi, BLE esp.) stack, driver/FW code. Key performance measurements.
Core hands-on development with understanding at Wifi chip level interface to processor.
Should be able to work at Wifi driver layer in linux kernel.
Education:
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering.
Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
